When you donate to our Club, or attend one of our events, you are helping us help others in a wide variety of ways. While support for the vision-impaired is core to our mission, we also help the communities we live in.

A great organization in Smithtown that trains seeing-eye dogs and blind individuals to use them, it receives no government aid and relies on the Lions Clubs for much of it's support. We make special efforts to aid this magnificent cause. We are proud to have funded many guide dogs over the past 25 years.

We annually give nine scholarships to deserving college-bound students in Babylon Village, Lindenhurst and West Islip. These also include the Leo Club Scholarship and the Kyle Fox Memorial Baseball scholarship.
Recipients exemplify community service, hard work and academic achievement.

Through financial support and food donated at our collection drives at Stop & Shops in West Babylon and West Islip, we support the mission of nine food pantries and kitchens at:
Westminster Presbyterian, Babylon United Methodist, Cross of Christ Lutheran, Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC, Our Lady of Lourdes, First Presbyterian of Babylon, Mercy Inn, Christ Episcopal and St. John's Lutheran

We support the Junior Lions, also known as the Leo Club, in Babylon High School. They are a community-service focused club and assist us at events throughout the year.

Every year, we purchase Christmas gift for 40-50 "Angels", children who otherwise might not have any gifts under the tree. We do this in cooperation with the Suffolk County Chapter of the Salvation Army.

We collect hundreds of pairs of gently used eyeglasses each year that are then cleaned and recycled before being distributed for free to those in need. Our dropoff location is at the Babylon Public Library.

We support the Lions Eye Bank for Long Island, which is available for anyone who needs a Cornea Transplant, free of charge.

Need crutches...a wheelchair? Need a lift for a blind or disabled person? Know a person who can't afford glasses or an eye exam? Speak to a Babylon Lion or contact us below

We sponsor a baseball team and a softball team every year. We have also supported the annual Peter Figoski Varsity Softball Game.

Every year, we donate and distribute 4000 small American flags during the Memorial Day Parade in Babylon Village. In addition, we donated the flag pole at the Babylon Public Library.
